As one of those who have helped New York on her way, we salute Connie Bennet for her work on the electic circuts.
As 1st Senior Electrical Designer working directly under the Engineers for ALL Electrical, Instrumentation, Nuclear, some RADAR, Monitors and some MECHANICAL, and PLUMBING. ANYTHING and ALL that required electricity for the Model Ship LPD-17, which 18, 19, and 20 have already been launched, No. 18 was the USS LOUISIANA! No. 19 was USS ANTONIO.

The bow stem will carry a lot of pride.I am honerd that my aunt Connie Bennet helped in the design of this magnifasent peice of our history to come.

As a former New Yorker…… I feel likeI have ties to the USS New York ,ironically my Dad was stationed in the New Orleans area for awhile during WWII,I’ve been here for almost 12 years. I will be on the levee on Tuesday
