As a federal officer for the USDHS, I am thrilled that there is an official date for the commissioning ceremonies. I am requesting for permission for the USDHS Memorial Warpipe Band to be present at this ceremony. It would mean alot to the band and be an honor to us as well.

My son is going to be stationed on this ship. We are from NY State and we are a family of
career Firefighters. We are so proud of the fact he is serving on this ship.
